Bavarian Cottages

We built a custom cabin in 2020. Both Paula & Michael were excellent in assisting with the design and always available during our construction phase. We were so impressed that we also purchased a custom shed & bunkie package.

Michael and Paula helped me to achieve my dream of building an off grid Cabin in Cariboo, BC. This was a giant project for me because I had no experience at all. I was not even sure if this would possible, so I decided to met Michael and Paula in person. They made big favors for me, favors you would not even expected it from close families and friends these days. They were willing to start the project even though they knew that it would take a lot of extra time and effort to complete the project. And Yes! it took a lot of extra time and effort. There were moment I really struggled; Michael was very kind of him to come to my property twice to help me. First with the foundation and second time to put the cabin together including the roof. Michael and Paula guided and mentored me step by step until the project was completed. They are such a generous and kind family. They became like close family to me. I learned so much and gained so many necessary skills. There is so much hard to explain in writing.

Built my cabin 7 years ago, very easy to build, Michael and Paula are very knowledgeable and helpful with answering questions.

It started with my very first call with Paula. It was so evident that she and Michael would do their best to make my experience of buying a cabin much easier than I thought it would be. From the beginning, Paula helped us with a design what would work best for our needs. Her vast experience with their various designs over the years proved invaluable. We went back and forth many times, with no pressure from her to final the design until we were happy with how are 18' x 18' bunkhouse plus 5 ' porch looked. She was able to send us many photos of design options from other projects rather than just talk about the options.They provided us with realistic time frames for the assembly of and delivery of our cabin and lived up to those dates. There pricing was very clear and they were willing to accept upgrades with no surprises.The really super customer service experience came while we were assembling our cabin. I recall Paula saying don't sit stumped about what to do next

Excellent service and high quality product.Michael and Paula were very kind and helpful every step of the way. I purchased my kit in 2020 and built it mostly that year, then did interior finishing in 2021. Ended up adding a custom door for a bathroom section that wasn't planned at the start.I'm glad that I had a carpenter friend to help me though because while I have skills, and the instructions are mostly clear, there were some parts of it that I would have not been able to do alone or would have totally failed on.I highly recommend Bavarian Cottages.

Paula and Michael provided excellent service throughout the planning and building of our 10 x 12 ft Bavarian cottage shed in October 2022. The product quality was excellent; there were no missing pieces and every pre-cut piece fit perfectly from start to finish. It took me about a day and a half, working mostly on my own to assemble the structure and put the roof on and then another day or so to stain it. I highly recommend this business and they will not disappoint.

Big fan. Repeat customer, what more to say than that? Paula & Michael are the best. Purchased one unit in 2018 and another in 2022. Quality, customer service and instructions are amazing. Non-stop compliments and interest from anyone who sees the units. People are always amazed when we tell them how quick and seamless they were to build.

When we got in touch with Bavarian Cottages, we felt valued from the first email. Every call, text and email reinforced the feeling that you were working with friends and family. Their customer service was superb and the end result was a great experience and an amazing cabin!Any questions concerns or help you need, you get it, and fast.It started in 2019 when we bought 10+ acres of bare land in the Cariboo. we designed what we wanted and got back computer graphic images that allowed us to make any changes once we saw the images what our ideas would look like.The whole building was delivered in April 2020, and arrived in clearly labeled sections and pieces with instructions that make it quite easy for 4 people to build in under a week, and it is 28 x 20.The whole experience was wonderful and we are going to do it again in a different province.Wonderful People, wonderful Cabin, wonderful Service!

Our bunkhouse was easy to put together as instructions were very well written. Customer service was amazing. We will definitely be buying more units from them.
